Fulfilling Sales Orders

Once a sales order reaches a Pending Fulfillment or Partial Fulfilled status, the next step is to fulfill it. This process involves picking the items, packing them, and shipping them to the customer.

Two Ways to Start Fulfillment

You can begin fulfillment using either of the following methods:

1. From the Sales Order

1. Open the sales order you wish to fulfill.

2. Click the Fulfill button (truck icon).

   • This button is enabled only for orders with status Pending Fulfillment or Partial Fulfilled.

3. The system navigates to the Fulfillment Page with the order details pre-selected.

4. Enter the shipping details:

   • Shipping Method

   • Tracking Number

   • Shipping Cost (optional)

   • Memo (optional)

5. Adjust the quantity of each item to fulfill:

   • Enter the full quantity to fulfill the entire order.

   • Enter a partial quantity to ship only some items.

6. Click Fulfill Sales Order to save the fulfillment.

A fulfillment record is created and can be viewed under the Fulfillments tab on the sales order.

2. From the Fulfill Orders Menu

1. Navigate to Market → Fulfill Order.

2. Click Fulfill Sales Order.

3. Select the Sales Order Number you want to fulfill.

4. Enter the shipping details:

   • Shipping Method

   • Tracking Number

   • Shipping Cost (optional)

   • Memo (optional)

5. Adjust the quantity of each item to fulfill.

6. Click Fulfill Sales Order to save the fulfillment.

A fulfillment record is created and can be viewed under the Fulfillments tab on the sales order.

Partial Fulfillments

If there is not enough inventory to ship all items, or if you want to ship in multiple batches:

• Enter only the quantity you are shipping in the current package.

• The sales order status updates to Partial Fulfilled.

• Remaining items stay unfulfilled and can be shipped later using another fulfillment.

Order Status Changes After Fulfillment

Saving a fulfillment updates the sales order status as follows:

• Partial Fulfilled – If only some items are shipped and invoiced

• Partial Fulfilled / Pending Invoice – If shipped items are ready to be invoiced.

• Fulfilled / Pending Invoice – If all items are shipped.
