Managing Your User Profile
This guide explains how to manage your personal information, change your password, and set your notification preferences in the Easyesuite system.
Accessing Your Profile
To access your user profile:
- Click on your profile icon or name in the top-right corner of the application.
- Select "Profile" from the dropdown menu.
This will take you to your profile page, which contains two main tabs: Profile Information and Notification Preferences.
Profile Information
This tab allows you to view and update your personal details and manage your account security.
General Information
This section displays your personal and system-related information.
Editable Fields:
- Profile Picture: Click the upload area to select a new image. You can remove or replace it at any time.
- First Name: Your first name (required).
- Last Name: Your last name (required).
- Phone Number: Your contact phone number (optional).
- WhatsApp Number: Your WhatsApp contact number (optional).
- Telegram Username: Your Telegram handle, e.g.,
@username(optional).
Read-Only Information:
- Email: Your login email address. This cannot be changed.
- Status Badges:
- Active: Indicates your account is active.
- Super Admin: Shown if you have super administrator privileges.
- Staff: Shown if you are a staff member.
- Roles: A list of all roles assigned to your account (e.g., "Admin," "Manager").
- Last Login: The date and time of your last successful login.
- Date Joined: The date your account was created.
After making changes, click the "Save Profile" button to apply them.
Changing Your Password
For security, you can change your password at any time.
- On the Profile Information tab, click the "Change Password" button.
- In the modal that appears, fill in the following fields:
- Current Password: Enter your existing password.
- New Password: Enter a new, strong password.
- Confirm New Password: Re-enter the new password to confirm.
Password Requirements:
Your new password must meet the following criteria:
- At least 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
- At least one lowercase letter (a-z)
- At least one number (0-9)
- At least one special character (e.g., !@#$%^&*)
✨ Tip: Use the "Generate Password" button to automatically create a secure, random password that meets all requirements. Be sure to copy and save it in a safe place!
- Click "Change Password" to save your new password.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. When enabled, you'll need to provide a code from an authenticator app or email to log in.
To enable MFA:
- In the "Multi-Factor Authentication" section of your profile, click the "Add Email Device" button.
- Check your email for a verification code.
- Enter the 6-digit verification code from the email you received.
Once enabled, you will be prompted for a verification code each time you log in.
Notification Preferences
The Notification Preferences tab lets you control how you receive system alerts for various events.
How to Configure Notifications:
- Navigate to the Notification Preferences tab.
- You will see a table where each row represents a system event (e.g., "Transfer Complete," "Export Success," "Back Order Creation").
- The columns represent the different notification channels: Email, In-App, and SMS.
- Check the box at the intersection of an event and a channel to enable notifications for it. Uncheck it to disable notifications.
- Once you've made your changes, click the "Save Preferences" button.
Note: The events available for you to configure depend on your assigned roles and permissions. Some notifications may be mandatory and cannot be disabled.
